Hey everyone, I promise I didn't crawl under a rock! I've been furiously entering data on over 7,000 state legislators to create a new site feature that will allow us to document which legislators in each state have been contacted and whether or not a response has been received. I put the final touches on it last night and it should now be available to view. Again, I am not a professional web designer or anything of the sort, so if you run into any issues, please, please let me know so that I can try to improve it.
If you HAVE contacted your legislators, please let me know so that I can include your data in the first round of updates to the tracker. Don't forget to tell me if they have responded to you as well! You can contact me by sending a visitor contact form to the site, e-mailing me, commenting on this post, or by Facebook or Twitter messaging.
If you have NOT contacted your legislators, please see the easy-to-use form letter templates at the bottom of this page. If you don't know who to contact, check this awesome site to find your state legislators. And then SEND it!! We can't wait on anyone else to do this for us, because I promise you, it won't happen. Now is the best time to send, so that multiple complaints received can make a greater impression of the severity of these issues.
